Grasshopper + Marks

Grasshopper + Marks is a separate partner company of Grasshopper Film

A new kind of production company: Issue-based. Artist driven. Filmmaking that pushes boundaries. Stories that capture the imagination.

With an eye towards creating Content with a ConscienceTM, Grasshopper + Marks connects brands, non-profits and foundations with award-winning directors from around the world. We strive to bring artistry to brand storytelling and to enable filmmakers to bring their creative visions to life.

Founded by three leading industry executives — Ryan Krivoshey, Founder & President of Grasshopper Film, Beata Gutman, Founder & President of Grasshopper Global, and Andy Marks, President of Marks Entertainment + Media — Grasshopper + Marks combines Ms. Gutman’s background in global positioning and sustainability with Mr. Marks’ experience in branded entertainment and production, and Mr. Krivoshey’s expertise in film marketing and distribution.

Our first feature film, Brewmaster, premiered as an official selection at the 2018 South by Southwest Film Festival. Directed by Douglas Tirola (Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon), Brewmaster is the story of the rise of craft beer through two young men pursuing their dreams in the world of beer.
